If you're the type of person who likes to be prepared especially when it comes to your car like me. Having this in place of 2 cables and a dedicated car charger adapter is much cleaner for your car and maybe even better.
The length of both cables is more than suitable to the passengers who are close to the car port being used. The cables are on the thin end so I would be careful with them. The thinness is most likely to allow for having that much cable in the adapter. The cable has a couple of stopping points on it so you don't have to pull it all the way out and you only to need to pull it out slightly after a stopping point to make it retract. You don't have to pull it all the way out to make it retract which is what I was worried about. The hinge is also a great touch considering this is bigger than your average adapter so this should fit in most cars pretty well.
The reason I say this MIGHT be better for your car than dedicated cables and adapter is because of the power provided.
USB C cable: 30W
Lightning cable: 12W
USB A - Port: 12W
USB C - Port: 15W
You can find car adapters that provide 100W+ and potentially instead of charging your android phone at 30W you can do 100W. ONLY IF YOUR PHONE IS CAPABLE OF COURSE. For iPhone you can go from 12w to a range of 18w(XS max) or 27W(13 Pro Max+). The difference is there but not as crazy as the android side. Plus the ports provided are average in terms of dedicated car ports but you probably wouldn't need high power ports since you already have the two cables in place.
If you want something to cover your bases then this is the perfect product. If you have an actual need for much more wattage than go for a high power adapter and the appropriate cables. Which will be more than this product but you get what you pay for.
The car voltage is pretty handy for car health monitoring but if you actually want to get an accurate reading don't have anything plugged into the adapter as that throws off the reading by a good amount.
